Walt Disney World is a wonderful place to celebrate Valentine’s Day. After spending a fun filled day enjoying park attractions, couples can enjoy a romantic dinner at one of Disney’s numerous table service restaurants in the parks. No matter which park you choose to visit, you’ll find a wonderful restaurant ideal for your Valentine’s celebration.
Magic Kingdom has several great table service restaurants, but one stands out as being the best Magic Kingdom restaurant for Valentine’s Day. Be Our Guest Restaurant in Fantasyland is located inside Beast’s castle and features French inspired cuisine. Guests can dine in one of three exquisite dining rooms. The Ballroom recreates the classic scene from the film. If you dine in the Ballroom, be sure to notice the snow falling just outside the windows. The enchanted rose can be seen in the West Wing dining room. In the Gallery dining room, beautiful figures of Belle and Beast dance as the room’s centerpiece. After enjoying your Valentine’s dinner, be sure to try the Grey Stuff – it’s delicious!
Epcot is filled with amazing restaurants serving food from around the world. Any of the restaurants around World Showcase would be an excellent choice for Valentine’s Day, but my top pick for a Valentine’s dinner is Italy’s Tutto Italia Ristorante. This exquisite restaurant serves amazing Italian favorites such as Spaghetti and Lasagna alla Bolonese. While it might not sound like anything special, the spaghetti is served with beef and veal meatballs and is the most delicious spaghetti I have ever tasted. After enjoying a delicious Italian meal, be sure to order one of the remarkable desserts such as the Bacio al Cioccolato, a warm hazelnut chocolate cake with gelato and chocolate sauce.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The Hollywood Brown Derby is the best Hollywood Studios restaurant for a romantic Valentine’s dinner. This restaurant is modeled after the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant located on North Vine Street, which interestingly enough opened on Valentine’s Day in 1929. Much like its inspiration, Disney’s Hollywood Brown Derby features caricatures of Hollywood stars. The Hollywood Brown Derby also serves a delicious cobb salad, an entree which is said to have been invented at the original Hollywood Brown Derby. It should be noted this table service location is two table service credits with the Disney Dining Plan.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Tiffins, the most recent table service addition to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, is another wonderful choice for Valentine’s Day. With African, Asian, and Latin cuisine, Tiffins features food from around the world. Adventurous guests will be thrilled to try dishes such as grilled octopus, grilled swordfish, or pan-seared duck. The photographs, paintings, and sculptures decorating the restaurant were inspired by actual notes and sketches from the imagineers who created Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Tiffins is also two table service credits with the Disney Dining Plan.
