We will each be sharing a recipe from one of the countries represented at the Food & Wine Festival. We invite you to […]
When I was about 10 years old, my family visited Walt Disney World. Naturally, we just had to check out Disney-MGM Studios’ newest attraction: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror! As we approached the attraction, we could hear guests screaming as they plummeted down the elevator shaft. The fog and 1930s background music set the […]

For guests staying on-property at Walt Disney World, free transportation is provided between the airport and resort, as well as, from the resort to practically anywhere on Disney property you would want to visit. But what about transportation from Disney to other Orlando attractions such as Universal or Sea World? It’s not practical to pay […]

The Hidden Mickey books by Steven M. Barrett are a great way to help you find all of those hidden Mickeys. Our friends at Pixie Dust […]

As many times as I have visited Walt Disney World, you’d think I would have tried quite a few salty snacks at the parks, right? Wrong! When someone says “snack” at Disney, I immediately think Mickey ice cream bar every time. In fact, I can’t think of a single salty snack I have ever tried […]
Welcome to the first stop aboard Magical Blogorail Red. Enjoy the ride as we celebrate America at Disney. Epcot is one of the best places to celebrate America at Disney. There are so many great ways to celebrate anniversaries. Just a couple weeks before our second anniversary, my husband and I visited Walt Disney World. We celebrated early with some Disney anniversary buttons. Our anniversary is in July, which just happens to be my favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World. So I’m sure we will celebrate many more anniversaries at Disney. Here are some of my favorite Disney anniversary celebration ideas.
Guests can explore their ‘Disney Side’ this summer at the Disneyland Resort where they will enjoy the thrills of the newly reopened and enhanced Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, along with dazzling summer entertainment that, beginning in mid-June, will include “Frozen” characters in a special pre-parade float for “Mickey’s Soundsational Parade.” The pre-parade unit features Princess Anna and snowman Olaf frolicking in the snow while Queen Elsa is depicted in her icy domain.
Other summer entertainment in Disneyland Park includes daily performances of the enchanting “Mickey and the Magical Map” stage show, nightly performances of both “Fantasmic!” and “Magical” fireworks, featuring aerial flights by both Tinker Bell and Dumbo, and a variety of new entertainment daily in Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree. At Disney California Adventure Park, guests continue to enjoy the thrills and fun of Cars Land and the after-dark excitement of “World of Color” and “Mad T Party.”
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – It’s doesn’t have to be Father’s Day or even June to pay tribute to that special man in your life, Dad. Walt Disney World Resort salutes dads every day with a flurry of father-friendly activities sure to get him out of the “man cave” and into some theme park fun. […]
When I visit Walt Disney World, my vacation is anything but relaxing. Though I usually don’t make it to the parks in time to see them open, I believe in spending as much time as possible in the parks. I always try to fit in as many attractions as possible and almost always stay until after park closing. Even though I […]
There is so much to do at Walt Disney World that you just can’t do it all. Disney’s Hollywood Studios opened as Walt Disney World’s third park in May of 1989. The park is dedicated to movie magic. At Walt Disney World it’s not uncommon to see a little bit of rain each day of your vacation. Even on sunny days, central Florida can see small rain showers. While most of these rain showers don’t last for more than 30 minutes, it’s still a good idea to prepare for rain. After all, who […]
Meeting the characters at Disney is an exciting experience, especially for the little ones. Unfortunately, the lines to meet your favorite Disney friends in the parks can get quite long. Instead of waiting in these long lines only to get a quick photo and autograph from the characters, try a character dining experience.
There are many character dining experiences offered throughout the Disney parks and even in some of the resorts. These dining experiences allow guests to meet their favorite characters without those long lines. The characters will each come around to your table for a little one on one time with your family. You never know what they will do! Some of the characters have been known to join in your meal, while others might carry on a conversation with you. Some of my favorite Disney memories are from character dining experiences. If you haven’t tried one yet, I highly recommend it!
Located in the Marketplace at Walt Disney World’s Downtown Disney is Goofy’s Candy Co. This unique store is one of the best places to get a tasty snack at Disney. Here you have the option to create your own snack! First, you will need to choose the type of treat you would like. Choices include […]
