Disney’s Club Penguin has been taken over by Frozen. From August 21st until September 3rd, players at Club Penguin can experience the magic of Disney’s latest animated film. Members can dress up as their favorite characters from the film including Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and Kristoff. Members also have the ability to transform into Marshmallow or Olaf. The Frozen Party is sure to be fun for any Disney fan!
Disney Interactive was kind enough to offer me a complimentary Club Penguin membership so I could experience all the fun of the Frozen Party. Upon signing in to the party, I headed to the Clothes shop to check the latest Penguin Style catalog for some Frozen themed costumes. There are so many great Frozen costumes available for Club Penguin members! Available costumes include Anna and Elsa’s coronation dresses, Elsa’s beautiful ice queen dress, as well as costumes of the film’s snowmen – Olaf and Marshmallow. Members can also purchase Sven and Kristoff costumes for their penguin. My penguin is currently sporting Elsa’s coronation dress complete with Elsa’s gorgeous up-do for the occasion.
Once my penguin was dressed for the occasion, I headed around the island in search of some Frozen snowflakes. There were three snowflakes hidden in each location. While the snowflakes weren’t incredibly hard to find, a few of them did provide a bit of a challenge. It was a lot of fun to search for these snowflakes. As I found all three snowflakes in each location, more Frozen fun was unlocked. Some of the unlocked items include my penguin’s own personal snow flurry, a sled, a Sven costume, and more. Once all of the snowflakes across the island were found, even more Frozen fun was unlocked. My penguin was then able to transform into Olaf or Marshmallow, adopt a snowman puffle, and throw special snowballs.
In addition to adding tons of fun to Club Penguin, the Frozen Party has also made the island extra beautiful. Players can throw those special snowballs I mentioned at sparkles around the island to watch their surroundings transform into beautiful structures made of ice. Upon embarking on the snowflake challenge, players are also given a gorgeous ice palace to use for their penguin’s igloo. I have set up my ice palace igloo and decorated it with lovely ice decorations including ice lanterns and an ice coffee table.
Two days from now, even more Frozen fun will be added to the party as The Ice Palace opens. Once Elsa’s Ice Palace opens, players will be able to hear an instrumental version of the film’s hit song Let It Go. I can’t wait to see the palace when it opens! I’m sure it will be just as beautiful as the palace Elsa created in the film.
Club Penguin is filled with many fun games and experiences for Disney fans. If you haven’t experienced Club Penguin yet, the Frozen Party is the perfect time to join in the fun! Have you joined in the Club Penguin Frozen Party? Let us know your thoughts on the party in the comments below!
