As someone who grew up in a musical family and participated in show choirs throughout high school, I have always loved Broadway shows. Whether they’re in New York or in a local theatre, Broadway shows always leave me amazed (and wanting to see the show again)! A little over a year ago, I was able to see the Broadway production of Newsies, which just happens to be one of my absolute favorite Disney films, when it came to my hometown. The show was everything I had hoped for and more!
This morning I was thrilled to learn Disney’s latest Broadway musical, Aladdin, will soon launch a North American tour! The tour will begin at Cadillac Palace Theatre in Chicago with additional engagements to be announced. See the press release below for more information:

New York, NY (January 26, 2016) – Disney Theatrical Productions proudly announces that Aladdin, the hit Broadway musical, will launch its North American tour in Chicago. The 12-week engagement begins performances at Broadway in Chicago’s Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601) on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 and plays through Sunday, July 2. Future engagements and casting information will be announced in the coming months. Reservations for groups of fifteen (15) or more are now being accepted by calling (312) 977-1710. Beginning March 2016, Broadway In Chicago subscribers will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to the production. Single ticket on-sale for the general public will be announced at a later date.
