Hidden Mickey Monday: Maelstrom

This week’s hidden Mickey is found at one of my favorite Epcot attractions, Maelstrom. If you look at the mural near the loading area of the attraction, you will notice a ship full of vikings. Take a closer look at the vikings near the center of the ship. Much like many of the park’s guests, one of the vikings is wearing a pair of mouse ears! Have you ever noticed this hidden Mickey at Maelstrom?

Starting Thursday July 11th, we will be hosting a new blog hop here at Frontierland Station! The blog hop, called Fastpass To History, will allow readers to quickly and easily find several interesting pieces of Disney history each week. We look forward to hosting this blog hop and hope you will join in the fun!

Kimberly's love of Disney began at an early age and grew even more when her family won a Walt Disney World vacation from a local radio station. She grew up visiting the parks every one to two years and is fascinated by Disney history and trivia. Whether at the parks or at home, Kimberly is constantly looking for hidden Mickeys. She enjoys sharing tips and helping others plan their Disney vacations. In addition to Frontierland Station, she can also be found writing for Park World Travel and selecting music for Park World Radio.
