Minnie Tips: How To Avoid Long Lines In Fantasyland

If you’ve ever visited Fantasyland at Walt Disney World, you know the lines for these attractions can get incredibly long – especially in the afternoons. It’s not uncommon to see a 90 minute wait for Fantasyland attraction. I don’t know about you, but spending an hour and a half waiting for a three minute attraction isn’t exactly my idea of fun. So how can you and your family experience these great attractions without the long wait?

Several Fantasyland attractions offer the option of reserving a Fastpass. Personally, I don’t use my Fastpasses on Fantasyland attractions. I like to save those for the bigger attractions such as Splash Mountain, but I rarely travel with young children. If you are traveling with young children, the Fantasyland rides may be important enough to get a Fastpass.

If you don’t want to use a Fastpass for the Fantasyland attractions, or maybe you just want to get a few extra rides in addition to your Fastpasses, you will definitely want to visit Fantasyland in the morning. Most park guests will take their time taking in the sights and sounds of Main Street, U.S.A. upon arriving at the Magic Kingdom. If you’ve already visited Main Street, I recommend heading straight to Fantasyland upon your arrival at the Magic Kingdom. The Fantasyland attractions will have a much shorter wait early in the morning, allowing you to take in more attractions.
