Surely Floridians wouldn’t be interested in a pirate attraction at Disney. The imagineers decided the southeastern region of the country would be more interested in an attraction with a less familiar theme – the wild west.
When I saw Moana in theaters, I instantly fell in love with the new Disney film. As someone who loves the islands and being on the sea, this new film with a Disney princess who feels the call of the ocean really resonated with me. Just after dinner on a hot July evening, we headed toward the exit for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The sun hadn’t set yet, but the park would soon be closing. Precious Moments figures have always held a special place in my heart. For as long as I can remember, my grandmother collected Precious Moments. She had figures to commemorate special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and more. I always enjoyed admiring her Precious Moments collection when I went to visit her. Each of the figures were adorable and shared a message of love – whether it be the love of a spouse, mother, child, or God’s love.
There are so many fun and unique experiences on my Disney bucket list – dining at Club 33, visiting Walt’s Disneyland apartment, touring the Cinderella Castle Dream Suite…and the list goes on and on. At the top of my Disney bucket list is what I think may be the best way to experience all of the magic Disney has brought to the world. Someday I hope to visit all six Disney resorts around the world.
