Best Places To Relax At The Magic Kingdom

When I visit Walt Disney World, my vacation is anything but relaxing. Though I usually don’t make it to the parks in time to see them open, I believe in spending as much time as possible in the parks. I always try to fit in as many attractions as possible and almost always stay until after park closing. Even though I […]

In 1996, Walt Disney World celebrated its 25th anniversary with the castle decorated as a giant pink cake. Also as part of that celebration, the Remember The Magic Parade debuted at Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1996. The parade featured many of our favorite Disney characters and was, of course, led by Sorcerer Mickey. The […]

20,000 Leagues Under The Sea

I love this photo of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to ride this attraction, but I do remember seeing it at Magic Kingdom on several Disney trips. 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea opened on October 14, 1971, just days after the opening of Walt Disney World. The attraction was […]

Festival of Fantasy Parade

The new Festival of Fantasy parade at the Magic Kingdom is, in my opinion, one of the best 3 o’clock parades Disney has ever had. The parade floats are spectacular! The Little Mermaid has always been one of my favorite Disney movies. In fact, if I had to choose only one favorite, that’s probably the one I would pick. No matter how many times I watch it, I still find myself singing along and enjoying the movie just as much as I did the first time […]

Cinderella Castle is one of my favorite sights at Walt Disney World. Many guests love to take photos in front of the castle. In fact, this Disney icon is the most photographed structure in the entire world. Let’s take a look at some interesting facts about Cinderella Castle:

The castle features 18 towers and 13 gargoyles.
Though it may look like many stones were used to build Cinderella Castle, not a single stone was used in its construction; The outside of the castle is actually made of fiberglass.
The beautiful murals in the castle took two years to complete and contain one million pieces of glass.
