Wordless Wednesday: Disney History

Disney History Donald's Breakfast At Restaurantosaurus

As you probably know, I love Disney history. It’s my favorite topic to write about, and I also love reading about it. I love seeing old photographs of the Disney parks. So, of course, I was thrilled to see the theme for this week’s Wordless Wednesday would be Disney history!

The above photo was taken in July of 1998 – the very first time I ever met Donald Duck! We had quite the time trying to find that duck! After a few trips to Disney, I realized I had never met Donald. So on this trip, meeting Donald was a priority. We kept asking cast members where Donald was, but he always managed to be at a different park than the one we were at. Then, we found out about Donald’s Breakfast at Restaurantosaurus where you could dine with your favorite duck. We quickly made reservations for later in our trip.

The whole experience at Restaurantosaurus, which is located in Animal Kingdom’s DinoLand USA, was fantastic! The food was delicious, the characters were so much fun to meet, and the theme of the restaurant was great! The grad students studying paleontology there have added their own little touches to the restaurant. You can find all kinds of jokes and puns in the decor, as well as, plenty of dinosaur themed decor.
